Junior League of Nashville is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable.

Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt

With more than 500 physicians trained in 30 pediatric and surgical specialties, we’re equipped to handle any issue a child may face—from the simple to the complex. The hospital offers comprehensive services for everything from cancer, transplant, trauma, and sickle cell disease, to developmental disorders, ENT, general surgery and others. Featuring Centers of Excellence for the treatment of diabetes and congenital heart disorders, Children’s Hospital is also home to the highest level NICU in the state and serves as Nashville's Comprehensive Regional Pediatric Center.

U.S. News & World Report has named Monroe Carell Jr. Children's Hospital at Vanderbilt the no. 1 children's hospital in Tennessee and tied for no.1 in the Southeast. We are also among only 22 children’s hospitals that are ranked nationally in 10 out of 10 pediatric specialties.

Dressed for the Test is on a mission to provide Standard School Attire (SSA) for every student that is required to comply with SSA standards to attend public school.

Dressed for the Test is the signature program of Tennessee Educational Alliance, an alliance between community members, the nonprofit community, and corporate partners to provide the fundamentals necessary to thrive as today's students and tomorrow's leaders.

Tennessee Educational Alliance is dedicated to equipping students to achieve excellence by minimizing the stresses of financial hardship and lack of resources to empower them to thrive academically, socially, and professionally and become the leaders of tomorrow. 

 

We provide the fundamentals essential to breaking the cycle of poverty.

The mission of the Junior League Women of Color affinity group is to create an opportunity for historically underrepresented women of the Junior League to connect and build capacity. We aim to deepen member experience and offer strength in our shared experiences. Our goal is to empower women by offering member support and leadership opportunities. The activities of the group enhance ongoing efforts within Junior Leagues to develop the potential of a diverse group of women leaders in our communities.

Chi Omega (National, Executive Headquarters)

Special Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion, 2020 - 2021​

Chi Omega is the largest women's fraternal organization in the world with over 375,000 initiates, 181 collegiate chapters, and 246 alumnae chapters.

​

The Special Committee on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is charged with making recommendations to the Supreme Governing Council after a holistic review of the practices, policies, procedures and member feedback, to ensure a more inclusive and ever-evolving Chi Omega.

Nashville Emerging Leader Awards (NELAs)

The Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce and YP Nashville annually present the NELAs. The NELAs recognize Nashville area young professionals ages 21-40 across 14 industries for significant accomplishments in their chosen career fields, as well as their commitment and contribution to the community. Judges for each industry are leaders from their respective field.

tnAchieves is the partner organization to the TN Promise Scholarship in 84 of the 95 counties in TN. Their mission is to increase higher education opportunities for TN high school students by providing last-dollar scholarships with mentor guidance.
